No doubt, the Haiti earthquake is big news and demands a lot of the worlds attention, but is that all the news is capable of covering?  There are a ton of other things just as life threatening going on in the world, yet all I hear about day in and day out is the Haitian earthquake.

We got it, lots of people are struggling to stay alive and there are moments of triumph, moments of chaos, and moments of strife, etc.  But after 3 solid days of talking about nothing else, it seems the news is on a loop and I'm getting tired of it.
