With the recent report that GM is seeing it's last days, Obama prepares to take the burden upon himself and the American taxpayer in order to bail out the massive unsuccessful corporation.
Understanding the issue is not easy, even if you read the news daily, but surely you have an opinion. Do you think Obama is taking the right steps? Is GM indeed just to big to lose at such an economically vulnerable time? What are the consequences if GM doesn't change it's ways after we've completely committed the country to this investment?
If you think Obama is taking unnecessary risks and perhaps pulling the common tax payer into debt that won't be recovered even with the most stringent GM makeover, vote "Agree".
If you think Obama is on the right track and that these are simply necessary evils that come with the territory of making hard decisions during economic crisis, vote "Disagree".

It may seem unnecessary now, but I think in the long run, it's just about the only thing we can do at this point. If we let it fail, the number of jobless with skyrocket. Mainly, because you're not just talking about the thousands of jobs lost directly as a result of them going out of business, but numerous other companies that rely on GM for business.
I don't think any of us WANT to buy into GM, but it would just have too negative a domino effect on the economy right now when we are starting to see the first signs of recovery.
